Last night’s MSOE AI Club Innovation Labs Kickoff was incredible! The energy in the room was electric; you could feel the excitement from students ready to dive into real-world AI challenges.
This year’s lab is focused on AI Automation for Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Insurance Operations, and I’m proud that Xorbix is sponsoring and mentoring this 2-month program. At Xorbix, we don’t just talk about AI, we build it. From rapid prototypes to production-ready systems, our passion is turning AI ideas into solutions that have a real impact. And they came hungry for knowledge and food; they went through almost 50 pizzas Thursday night!
A huge shoutout to Brett Storoe and the entire MSOE AI Club for their amazing leadership and organization. Brett and his team have been planning this for months, and it showed. I was very impressed. They brought together 281 participants from MSOE, Rose-Hulman, Marquette, UWM, and even Pasadena City College in California! That’s real community building and collaboration across schools.
It was great hearing Asif Bakar, Xorbix’s founder, offering an inspiring message about curiosity, innovation, and the future of AI. His words set the perfect tone for what’s ahead for the next two months and beyond.
Over the next two months, Xorbix engineers will be mentoring the student project teams, guiding them as they design and build solutions that bridge the gap between academic learning and industry application. It’s an incredible opportunity not just for the students, but for all of us who get to be part of their journey.
