Overview
Join Xorbix Technologies and Databricks for a special Wisconsin Databricks User Group meetup on Tuesday, January 20th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM CST at MSOE in Milwaukee, WI, with a virtual option also available.
This event is focused on reconnecting with the local data community, kicking off the new year, and creating space for both learning and networking. Attendees will have extra time to connect with fellow data professionals, enjoy food and drinks, take part in prize giveaways, and exchange ideas with others in the Databricks ecosystem.
The featured session, “MLOps in Databricks,” will be led by Andrew McQueen, Databricks Data Science Professional. Andrew will walk through how Databricks supports end-to-end MLOps workflows using a hands-on, real-world example. The presentation will cover experiment tracking, model comparison and selection, model registry and versioning, monitoring, and repeatable workflows that scale as new data arrives.
Andrew will also highlight key Databricks platform capabilities such as governance and Unity Catalog, tying everything together into a practical, production-ready MLOps lifecycle that teams can apply in real-world environments.
Whether you’re new to Databricks or already working deep in the ecosystem, this meetup is a great opportunity to expand your network, learn from a Databricks practitioner, and connect with the Wisconsin data community.
