Xorbix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a part-time experienced accountant to join our growing custom software development and managed software company. The accountant will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, billing, payroll and benefits entry, and preparing financial and forecasting reports.

The position will report directly to company ownership. The individual will work remotely but must be available for online or in-person weekly meetings and face-to-face training within the greater Milwaukee area.

The Successful Candidate Must Have the Following Background

• A bachelor’s degree with an Accounting Major.
• Five or more years of related accounting experience.
• Strong Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) knowledge.
• Two or more years of experience with QuickBooks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
